Web Marketing

Gain an understanding of how web marketing works at a micro level, through observing and learning how you are marketed to. Learn how to avoid predatory marketing ploys online and in person. Enhance your understanding of how you are persuaded, and how you can influence / are influenced when using the Web.
Additionally, this module will help you develop your web marketing knowledge and capability. Develop customer loyalty, interaction and expand your customer base.
Pre-Requisites:
Beginner
- Basic understanding of advertisements and trend analyses (e.g. flight tickets are cheaper on a Tuesday outside of half term etc)
Intermediate
- Knows some concepts such as advertisement ID tied to the user
- Basic understanding of data management and how data is harvested for users (e.g. clicking Facebook ad shares with 3rd party etc)
- Has basic knowledge of cookie and smart ads
To qualify for this module, you must be employed in South Yorkshire.
