You will gain an understanding of service management and standards, such as working to SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and understanding what to do when things go wrong. Additionally, by defining, analysing and improving your service management design you’ll be able to shape and implement more effective and efficient service provision. By scrutinising your SLA you can know when your service provider is at fault. Help develop your business’s readiness for ISO standards.     

Pre-Requisites:

Beginner

  • Is aware that IT services depend on the business  / system and their practices

Intermediate

  • Has awareness of ITIL
  • Knows what stakeholders are 
  • Knows why regular audits and standards are maintained 
  • The benefits of annual training in relation to risk management

To qualify for this module, you must be employed in South Yorkshire.

Who should attend?

You should attend if you want to learn on how to make sure that the right procedures, tools, and personnel are in place so that the company can achieve its objectives. This is the core goal of IT service management. If you want to learn about all the tasks involved in planning, developing, delivering, maintaining, and managing the lifespan of an IT service, this module is for you.
